GEORGETOWN LAW ’25 GRADUATES
The Center on Gender Justice & Opportunity at Georgetown Law is hiring a fellow to work as part of a small team working to improve gender and racial equity in public systems, with a focus on young people.
This fellowship is a good fit for a student interested in: Gender Justice, Youth Justice, Gender-Based Violence, Women & Girls’ Rights
The fellow will work closely with the Executive Director as part of a small team working to improve gender and racial equity in public systems, with a focus on young people. Work may include: legislative research and reviews of sociological research; writing analytic memoranda; helping draft reports and fact sheets; and responding to other law-related needs of the Center. The fellow will represent the Initiative at external meetings and have the opportunity to meet with faculty and practicing attorneys who are passionate about gender equity issues.
Qualifications:
- This fellowship is open to Georgetown Law graduates of the class of 2025.
The ideal candidate has:
- Strong legal writing and analysis skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated commitment to social justice and/or relevant life experience to the Center’s work
- Clear interest in taking initiative on projects and acting as a team player
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or with little supervision
- Willingness to pivot quickly as a part of a small team to meet a range of needs as they arise
Salary: $68,000
