Michaela Minnis is the Youth Engagement and Program Associate at the Center on Gender Justice & Opportunity at Georgetown Law. She graduated from the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Public Policy. Michaela engaged in the reproductive justice space as an undergraduate and served in many leadership roles during her time at Michigan that spoke to her dedication to student access and success, cross-cultural learning and education, and racial justice. She’s particularly interested in how social, political, and economic forces that shape the material conditions of women, children, and families impact their health outcomes. Michaela plans to engage in the public policy or legal field to be a champion for families.
